Red Carnival

Last weekend, days 28-29 november, PT Foundation promote the Red Carnival to celebrate the World AIDS Day. And the Loving Our Lives Team couldn't stay out of it!
The big party happen in Bukit Bintang in Kuala Lumpur.
We join the PT Foundation as volunteers and we had a chance to perform a HIV/AIDS Game on
the stage for 15min.





The Game was super fun, and the idea come from the new Kazakhstan interns. It was very simple and attract a lot of public, from the most different ages, since youngsters to senior citizens!! Living Diversity!!!

Well, it was two days of much fun and creating awareness. Many red ribbons were distribute. This year theme was "I AM" and "Stop AIDS. Keep the promise", the last one following the international campaign.
For sure next year will be even more fun.

Red Carnival - World AIDS Day

The World AIDS Day is just around the corner!! Wait no more and come volunteer yourself to help out in this meaningful event!

World AIDS Day has been providing opportunities to all of us to protect and support the HIV infected people over the past 20 years and it has been working its best to educate people around the globe to prevent the transmission of HIV/AIDS virus as the number of HIV infected people are increasing!

This year, World AIDS Day is once again providing us the same opportunity to help stop AIDS. Thus, PT Foundationtakes the action to organize this meaningful event at Fiesta Streets, Sungei Wang Plaza in Bukit Bintang on 28th and 29th November 2009!

Let’s volunteer ourselves to help out in this great event!!

Let’s educate our society to be aware of HIV virus transmission!!

Let’s STOP AIDS!!

“Stop AIDS. Keep the Promise.”

Event details are as below:
Areas to volunteer in:

- Performance at the Fiesta Street
- Give out IEC material, Balloons, & Red Ribbons as well as help with fund raising
- Survey team to conduct HIV stigma and discrimination survey to the public
- Back–up team that makes sure the event runs smoothly

SMK LA SALLE

This week in the days 10 and 12 November we had workshops at SMK La Salle.
The first one (10/11) was with a very fun class of boys that really like to play games, they easy volunteer for all of them and participate a lot!



The second workshop (12/11) was with another class of enthusiastic students.
For sure the most funny part is the condom demo, as usually it is everyone's favorite at the evaluation forms.

WoRkShOp at TUC Main Campus and SMK SU

At 03.11.2009 we had another very nice workshop in Taylor's University College.
In the begging the audience was very shy, and almost don't shake hands in the wild fire game, but with time everybody start to participate a bit more and the workshop become very fun.
As always the condom demo was everyone's favorite.
Also it was my first workshop by myself! I love it (by Crisci)! Hope the next ones be even more fun.




Other very interesting workshop was at 5.11.2009 in SMK Subang Utama.
The class of young students around 14-15 years old. Who love to make jokes during the session...
We had many games, and this time everybody favorite was the body game, the one with a rope that represent the human body, we learn about how HIV attacks our body and how the white blood cells fight it and the infections, it is all related with HIV been a silent disease! So informative!
Very good everyone enjoy it.
